Autism, Abuse, Addiction, Cancer, Heart Attack, and Obesity...What do these all have in common? In my Kinesiology practice, I have found a common thread woven through the lives of each individual connecting all mankind to the same root cause...

ADHD NewsTip # 12 ~ Brain Gym's Thinking Caps:

When they can't hear you, try ADHD NewsTip # 12. It's Brain Gym's
Thinking Caps.

This has worked for Dylan since he was a baby! We still do this to Dylan frequently! The dentist (that he recently saw) was amazed at how quickly Dylan calmed down in preperation for his shot just from getting this technique done by me :)

I did this intuitively from his infancy stages, and later when he was 4 years old, I learned (in my kinesiology studies) exactly what this technique was, and why it worked so well on Dylan! My first teacher in these techniques was not Brain Gym, it was Laura Jacobs at Herbs For Health in Pleasant Grove, UT.

Did you know that stimulating all those nerve endings in the the
cartilage around the outside of your ear improves listening?

How to do Thinking Caps:
With your fingertips at the top of your
ear, unroll the folded-over part of your ear. Follow all the way
down to your ear lobe. Repeat three times, doing both ears at the
same time.

Not sure this works? Before you do Thinking Caps, turn your head to
the right and listen carefully. What do you hear? Then to the left
and listen carefully. What do you hear? Now do Thinking Cap. When
you're finished, turn your head to the left and right again. Listen
carefully? Do you hear more? Most kids will.

when to do, and what it does, see
